Shu, Daoping: Let the Public Participate in Anti-corruption Work
舒道平(Shu,Daoping)
The Chinese government has not achieved real effect in the anti-corruption struggle. The corrupted officials have cheated on the public by pretending to combat corruption. That is to say, the more seriously corrupted officials fight the less corrupted ones. It is common for the CCP officials to abuse their power to make personal profit via corruption, to which the whole society is used. No one is surprised by it. Exchange between money and power, a potential rule is becoming open and institutionalized. The corrupted officials tie personal corruption activity with the autocratic system. The Chinese government is helpless in front of it and has to try its best to protect its authority.
Most officials in the Chinese government are corrupted. In order to achieve effect in anti-corruption, we must fight corruption under open and transparent circumstance. No matter what rank the official is on, as long as he is involved in embezzlement and corruption, he must be punished according to items of law. At the mean time, the public should be allowed to participate in supervision on the government and its officials.
We should establish an effective anti-corruption system, let the news and media report corruption cases objectively, openly and justly, enable the public to directly participate in anti-corruption work and supervise the effect of it directly.
