Sun, Jian: Respecting and Protecting Human Rights should be Made into Action

The CCP government has trampled basic human rights of the public for a long time. The most typical one includes forcible demolition of the public, which stripes their right of residence. Forcible demolition is an example of persecution by the government which utilizes their authority. We do not know how many families and common people have gone through tragedies.
After experiencing fast increase in economy for several dozen years, the Chinese society is facing many troublesome social problems. Human right issue is more and more prominent. Concept on human right protection of the Chinese public is increased step by step. For the sake of their achievement and reputation, the CCP government officials construct buildings in cites, build and enlarge road in cities, and implement green construction on a large scale. In the process of demolition and reconstruction of the old city, many common people living on the bottom of the society are direct victims of forcible demolition. They become a special petition group for justice and human rights due to wrongfultreatment.
Human rights are given by God and sacred. Protecting human rights is not a gift, but a unavoidable responsibility of the government. The Chinese government should make human right an institution of the government. It should let the public see the government respects, protects and improves human rights.
We should popularize and promote consciousness regarding democracy, freedom, human rights and law of the Chinese public, help weak social group, and increase social justice. Only by promoting and protecting human rights practically in reality can the Chinese government say the public is the master of the country, and can building a harmonious and people-oriented society really be a mark for advancement in social civilization.
