Cai，Hongying: Enhancing Environmental Protection Completely in China

In China, many people have a bad habit of casually throwing away garbage. Moreover, some people also have brought the bad habit to the United States. In Chinese neighborhoods in the USA, discarded food packaging, paper scraps, peel, and so on can be seen everywhere. Why there is such a phenomenon? The reason is very simple. It is due to the vast majority of Chinese people’s lack of awareness of environmental protection.
The Chinese people have been short of system training on awareness of environmental protection since childhood, which is directly related to unreasonable and unscientific making of education policy of the government. In economically developed modern society, the protection of the environment is a very important task. Today, in some regions in China, government officials only focus on economic development and ignore environmental protection. A large amount of emission, wastewater and waste residue results in destruction of natural environment and engenders public health and normal life.
To protect the earth is to protect our homeland. Protecting environment is human responsibility and each government’s duty. China is a severely polluted region. The Chinese government must advocate the public to protect the environment with an attitude of being responsible for mankind and improve the public’s awareness of environmental protection to control pollution and protect environment.
