21 years ago, in 1989, thousands of students and civilians in Beijing went in street to request the CCP authority to punish corruption and embezzlement and promote democratic political reform.
In the early morning on June 4, 1989, the CCP government utilized regular troops, tanks, and machine guns to cruelly suppress the movement for democracy. A large amount of students and civilians died tragically in it. 21 years later, we memorize the June 4, 1989 incident, lamenting for those who lost their lives in pursuit of freedom and democracy. They were real national heroes.
Even though 21 years have elapsed, the Chinese people have never stopped pursuing democracy and freedom. They have experienced frustration and encountered difficulties, but they never give up. They are expecting and waiting for a new China with democracy and freedom.
