Jin, Chenwu: The Chinese society must develop in The Direction of Morality and Civilization
金陈武(Jin, Chenwu)
Because of the officials’ corruption and incapability in the Chinese society, the government has lost its dignity and credit. The society is short of morality and civilization. Officials use property of the public and benefit of the country to trade with corruption. The government not only does not publish it, but also protect it. How can there be morality in such a society? How can people in such a society possess dignity? Where is law?
For the sake of benefits, the Chinese autocratic government and officials do not consider morality, conscience or shame. They do not consider law, credit, and principle. For a country and society, morality and civilization is the soul to construct a harmonious society.
The current Chinese government needs to strongly advocate morality and civilization. As a government and its officials, they should pay more attention to morality and civilization when they implement governmental authority. Only in such a way can they really serve the public and can the Chinese society develop in the direction of morality and civilization.
