Zhou, Yun: Earnestly Improve Basic Human Rights Conditions in China

The Chinese Communist Government has a bad habit that it will implement big cleansing, mass arresting, imprisonment of dissidents, activists and religious figures, and restriction and driving petitioners throughout the country when it is holiday and when a big conference or large activity is being hold. Under the CCP’s strict guarding and monitoring, social atmosphere in China is very intense.

Nowadays, the CCP government has not abided by its promise made to the international society. The international society and international human organization hope the CCP government will obey the World Human Rights Declaration and earnestly improve human conditions in China. The CCP government should realize that it is not enough for a country to depend only on economic development. In order to achieve long-term and stable development, it should earnestly improve basic human rights conditions of the common people.

We call on the democratic countries in the world and international society not only to care about the human rights conditions in China but also to help China implement democratic political reform. Only under the democratic free system can the human rights environment in China be ameliorated fundamentally.
