Guo, Jinyu: Uncontrolled Authority will Lead to Corruption Inevitably

The Chinese Government officials have a wide variety of means to collect money. Among them the most common one is exchanging power for money. As long you have authority, regardless of its size, you can trade it. Why is there such a problem? It is because the power of Chinese government officials is not granted by common people, but by officials at the higher level. Thus you do not need to accept supervision by the common people; instead you only need to please superiors. Due to the corrupted environment of Chinese society, every official is corrupted, which is a cruel reality.
The Autocratic regime of the CCP makes authority of the government and its officials out of control completely. Nowadays, serious corruption issue has brought tremendous disasters to this country and its people. Even though the Chinese government has taken action against corruption, but no good results were achieved. Corruption problem is getting worse, which adds heavy burden to lives of the common people.
The Chinese government should understand one simple truth that serious corruption impedes social morality and the progress of civilization. With the development of the society, the Chinese Government must implement reform on democracy, freedom, human rights and the rule of law. Only by this way can severe corruption be curbed.
