Lin, Ling: Tear Down the Berlin War of the Network in China

In recent years, network plays a positive role in supervision of the Chinese Communist Party’s executive performance. For example: coal mining accidents in the past several years, violent demolition events, Sanlu milk powder incident, Jia Yang Event, Yujiao Deng event, girls insulted and bullied by the officials event, the recent Governor robbed recording pen event, illegal brick kiln events, waste oil, and so on. Because of network’s timely exposure and rapid spread as well as active attention and participation of the Internet users the above events were solved in a better way or developed in a better direction. It is due to role of the Internet and victory of the public opinion.
However, the role of network scares one-party dictatorship. In order to strengthen the control of network, the CCP spent nearly 100 billion RMB in building the so-called "Golden Shield" project, which is actually a "Berlin wall" of network which refuses overseas information. In the mainland China, they filter sensitive words, delete articles and ban all adverse information for its dictatorship .In addition, they hired thousands of people to form the "50 cents party" which guides the so-called public opinion. In fact, they fool the common people. They even monitor the network and monitor the democracy activists, human rights preservers, and intellectual dissidents.
Therefore, we must have a clear picture of the CCP’s evil intention of "purifying" network and unite all available strength in the world to tear down China＇s "Berlin wall” of the network.
