Zhu, Yuan: Such Government is Serving People?

China’s 2008 Olympic Games is a century-old dream of a strong country that Chinese people look forward to, so that all Chinese people are ready in preparation for the high celebration and break out the centuries-old passion. However, the fact is on the contrary with wish. From the beginning of a new year, disasters came one by one. Experienced a snowstorm on the land, frozen heart has not melt, and ushered in a big flood in century. People living in this land have experienced a lot of suffering. In May, big earthquake in Wenchuan of Sichuan happen, which shock all Chinese people. Road cut off, no end in sight; landslides and debris pouring down.
These are natural disasters that force majeure, but CCP government shamelessly use these disasters for the praises of CCP in power, fully mobilize the media and the propaganda machine of government reports and officials concerned about people, substantially tracking reports certain senior officials personally to the disaster areas met with lower-level officials and the people, how CCP worried about the people in disaster areas, how to care about people’s lives and property safety, and often because of ineffective relief to the people’s lives and property brought about enormous losses. Question: this government is serving people-oriented?
