Zhang, Shuai: Serious Corruption in China Is Created by Officials of the Government
张帅(Zhang,Shuai)
Corruption can be seen everywhere in China. Let us look at collapsed bridge piers, flood dam of Changjiang River shattered by flood and walls of collapsed classroom buildings due to earthquake, in which there is no piece of steel found at all. Who on earth boldly and fearlessly finished such jerry-built projects? The answer is the CCP governments at all levels and their officials in China.
The CCP government officials give government construction projects to some ineligible companies via lease and collude with relevant businessmen to make huge profit. Some despicable contractors sublease many projects out because they got too many contracts to handle. Their subcontractors continue subleasing them out. As a result, everyone involved makes profit and jelly-built projects with unqualified material come into being one after another. If we investigate such projects from the root, we have to investigate people who were responsible for design, construction and supervision at first. At last officials in charge of the projects will be found. As a result, their political prospect will be threatened. Some of them with serious problem will be charged for legal responsibility. What are they going to do? They will try every means to prevent such an investigation or try to transfer the responsibility to other people.
The Chinese officials love to boast of their achievements. They said those projects should be historical. However, at last some jelly-built projects were finished instead. The Chinese society is corrupted to such a high level. Will there be a hope in China if it does not implement democratic political reform on the social regime?
