Zheng, Yunhong: China’s Administrative Departments Severely Interfere with the Judicial Power
郑云宏(Zheng,Yunhong)
The Chinese government departments and their officials often use their authority to go beyond the laws to interfere with cases handled by the judicial organizations. Even as a legislative department, for the sake of its own interest, it will interfere with judicial power. As a result, the rule of man has dominated the entire Chinese society in which people ignore laws and do not abide by laws. The rule of man in China is not a new phenomenon. News media also reported it. In fact, such a phenomenon cannot be changed.
The Chinese law is not only short of seriousness but also becomes a shield umbrella for officials. Administrative intervention and officials’ intentions make the Chinese laws disfigured, which completely blocks the way of the violated citizens to seek justice via law.
Nowadays, the phenomena of administrative department’s intervention on judicial system is very serious. Administrative departments and its officials are in fact both legislators and judges, who even execute their own judgments. If necessary, they can be the plaintiff as well. Right of citizen and position of the common people as the owner of the country is just an empty name under such a judicial system.
