Tian, Bing: The Chinese Government Must Promote Democratic reforms
田兵(Tian,Bing)
The Chinese Government is against democracy and freedom. Its practices are not direct, but indirectly constrict democracy and limit freedom. It frequently finds excuses to be against democracy and advocates the rule of law instead of democracy. They also said that it is not the right time yet to have democracy at present, or we should promote construction of socialistic democracy with Chinese characteristics, and so on.It mixes democracy and socialism to create chaos in people's thinking, trying to make the Chinese people believe that socialism is democracy.
In real promotion of democratic reforms, there will always be some voices opposing the democracy, which is normal. Because the process of democratic process is also the process of returning right to the common people, democracy leads to a lot of benefit reduction or benefit loss of some benefits owners. It itself is a manifestation of the democratic progress to allow and advocate discussion and debate between democratic views and anti-democratic views, which is an important aspect of promoting democracy.
The Chinese government must take substantive action to promote development of democracy and achieve the maximum consensus on democratic reform between the government and the public. Only in this way can the democratic reform obtain more breakthroughs and achieve success.
