Impressive accomplishments were achieved in the process of China's reform and opening up. Economic development made China's position improved in the international community. The current problem is that China's economy has improved and developed via reform and opening up; however, the Chinese political system has not changed. Even though the CCP government keeps on saying to promote political reform, according to the present pace of political reform, basically it maintains the original position, one step back after one step forward.

Some Chinese Government officials claimed that China is developing and rising faster than before. China cannot be democratized and does not need democratization because democratization will affect social stability of China. They even say that democracy is the most inefficient political institution in the world. All of them is complete nonsense.

Because the social conflicts in the Chinese society is becoming increasingly fierce and number of corruption cases increases each year, the majority of the Chinese people form the common acknowledgement that the Chinese political institution needs reform. According to the current situation of the Chinese society, it is a good opportunity for the Chinese government to implement political reform. The Chinese government should seize the opportunity to steadily promote the pace of China's social and political reform.
