Qin, Lixia: Protect The Right in Freedom of Speech for The Common People in China ,Which Was Given by The Constitution.
秦丽霞(Qin,Lixia)
In the Constitution stipulated by the Chinese government, there is an item regarding the right in freedom of speech which states that the Chinese people have right in freedom of speech. For many years, the legal item regarding "the Chinese people have right in freedom of speech" has been basically stayed in words. In reality, there are a lot of restrictions on the Chinese public opinion. The common people cannot express their thoughts freely and cannot express their comments freely, especially comments and behavior which the government considers will endanger the stability and security of the country. The government restricts it extremely strictly.
Freedom in speech is a basic human right. The common people need freedom. Any person or organization cannot forcibly interfere with other people's speech. Relation between people is bilaterally equal. As a government, it should respect other people's opinions and views. The Chinese government should relax space of freedom in speech, allowing people to express different opinions. It should really open freedom in speech and guarantee right in freedom of speech, which is given by the Constitution to promote the progress of civilization of the Chinese society.
