Gong，Ming: Chinese Government Can’t Restrict People’s Speech Freedom

People living in a democratic society have the rights of speech freedom and they are free to expresss opinions regardless of time and location. No matter their speech is about individuals or government， in spite of it’s good or bad and regardless of it’s critics or suggestions，no one will interrupt them or forbid them. People can easily communicate and keep relationship with each other.

Chinese government restrict people’s speech freedom because they think it’s detrimental to the stability and solidarity. Therefore，people’s speech is seriously controlled. They can’t criticize government or the officials.

Anyone should have the rights of speech freedom. The Chinese government otherwise chooses to control people’s talk and command them to obey all said by the governemnt. It＇s These behaviors are totally against basic principles of speech freedom. Chinese government must correct it’s faulse bahavior and open up speech in the Chinese society.
