In contemporary Chinese society, because of the corruption and incapability of officials, the government loses necessary dignity and credit. Some people lack basic morality and civilization. When government officials make trades using people’s property with freedom and rights, who will respect them? How can this government have morality?
Many Chinese people feel deeply sad about the lack of morality and conscience in this society. The autocratic government and its officials take advantages of all means to achieve their benefits. They have no morality, conscience and shame. Before them, there are only interests. They have no laws, no credits and principles. The only reason is CCP’s one-party dictatorship.
Caring about morality and conscience is a dispensable tradition for the nation and for the society. Morality and conscience are the soul of establishing a harmonious society. A person with morality and conscience will act to care, love and support other people. This person will win others’ love, care and support in return.
Contemporary Chinese society asks for the government to promote morality and conscience. When the officials are administrating government power, they should accord with morality and conscience. Only by then can it truly serve people and can Chinese society be in order. The human civilization can keep on developing in Chine. The Chinese society can step towards morality and civilization.
