Wang,Yuying: The Chinese government has to develop education healthily

Improving a country’s national quality can lead the country to civilization and prosperity. Chinese government once claimed the slogan of “revitalizing the country with education”, and the Chinese people had great hope for this.
Though Chinese government emphasizes education and does lots of work, however, the educational system was impacted by the deficient social structure, and most measures couldn’t be accomplished. These measures didn’t facilitate the development of China’s education, but rather headed for deformation, problems like weak faculty force, shabby educational facilities, lack of educational fund appeared.
To change the situation, Chinese government has been trying to reform the educational system, and once changed education to an industry, and industrialized education. That is collecting various fees from students under false pretences which resulted in a situation of whoever is rich can go to school. This is totally against the purpose of compulsory education.
Chinese people today are not rich and most people are still in poverty, they couldn’t pay for the high tuition fees, and their children will face deprival of schooling.
The responsibility of revitalizing education lies in government through channels of reasonable educational system. We hope Chinese government establishes a rational educational system to realize the goal of “revitalizing the country with education”.
