Wu,Suzhen: On how to improve human rights in China
吴苏珍(Wu,Suzhen)
China is a big country with 1.3 billion population yet terrible human rights conditions. This issue isn’t improved but deteriorated. Chinese people don’t have right to select government by election or the right to choose government officials in today’s Chinese society. Therefore, Chinese government is one that is extremely irresponsible; this government can’t establish a legal system to guarantee human rights, can’t establish a judicial system to guard human rights, can’t let people enjoy freedom of speech, freedom of religion, and freedom of association. This is the fundamental reason that human rights conditions in China haven’t been improved for a long time.
It’s urgent to propel China’s democratic political reform and improve China’s human rights conditions. Chinese government comes up with the establishment of a harmonious society, a harmonious society has to be established with the development of economy and continuous advancement of social civilization, which is the request of social progress. Chinese government must abandon the sabotage of human rights based on improvement of people’s cultural quality; respect human rights and improve human rights on the basis of respecting people’s basic human rights.
At the same time, we call on international societies to care the progress of human rights in china, and also create a democratic political system to force CPC abandon the one-party system, therefore essentially improve human rights environment in China.
