Zhang,Mingyuan: Calling on Chinese government to abolish internet censorship

For a long time, Chinese government has blocked internet with top technologies. Factual proof shows that Chinese government intercepts and blocks “democracy, freedom, human rights” words effectively, and establishes censorship for domestic websites, which means websites without government censorship are not allowed to enter internet.
Moreover, Chinese government often screen and rectify public internet bars. All internet bars have to register to log in. Bars without screening and rectification are not given business licenses and are forced to close.
Many internet users in China, especially young users like to surf internet in bars, the official explanation for screening and rectifying is: internet has huge influence on young people’s growth and the development of society, negative and unhealthy information on the internet are too much which cause government to emphasize the standard of internet bars. However, the real reason is internet spread democracy, freedom thoughts which are not good for the stability of communist regime. Therefore, we call on the Chinese government to stop internet censorship, abolish the system and totally open internet.
