Zhu,Xueqin:Democratic system can prevent corruption of officials

The masses in China have no rights and no privileges, and they can only bear the oppression and exploitation by government officials. In this corrupted society, a corrupted system creates an array of corrupted officials. Common people suffer hunger and cold while government officials wallow in luxury, the majority still lives life without justice and fairness.
The reason of unpreventable corruption lies in a corrupted social system not crafty of corrupted officials, a corrupted society becomes protective umbrella of corrupted officials.
All these years, calls for anti corruption by CPC have been earthshaking, adopted anti-corruption movements are wave upon wave, however, the movements are just “much said and little done”, very few corrupted officials are stepped down. Though government has reinforced anti-corruption, formulated strict anti-corruption measures, however, government still does things their own way, and act in utter disregard of law and discipline.
If democracy is accomplished in China, government officials’ corruption situation will be restricted institutionally; if government officials don’t corrupt, they won’t devote themselves to CPC, which would cause CPC to lose its dominant position gradually. This is the real cause of CPC’s unwillingness to reform political structure and implement the democratic system.
