Liu,Min:Economic development and environment protection are both needed in China

China’s environment looks gloomy, for quite some time, to develop the economy, government doesn’t pay attention to environment protection, industrial waste water are discharged randomly, and black smokes are emissed from chimneys in cities; deforestation of trees in rural areas, and waste resources. All of these are damaging the eco-balance in China and around the world; air is polluted, clear river is turbid, thick forests are getting thinner, blue sky is getter darker, green mountain is getting bald.
Media reports that natural disasters like flood, debris flow and forest fires are common in China, some rare animals are near extinction, forests are deteriorating, water resources are contaminated, a series of disasters come one after another. We have already seen the serious consequences of environment pollution, we call on the Chinese government to act immediately, protect the environment, and love the earth. On one hand, the government should enhance environmental protection laws, invest more in environment protection; on the other hand, publicize ideas of reduction of pollution, protect forests, and water resources. Let all Chinese people know one simple principle: economic development and environment protection are both needed in China.
