Peng,Shukun: Chinese people need an equal social system
彭树坤(Peng,Shukun)
The hard work, plain living people in Chinese society are the most diligent, most discriminated people at the bottom of society, they haven’t get material benefits from the reform and opening up for the past few decades, and suffered blackmails and unreasonable oppression by CCP officials. Among those low income people, many of them only have enough money to maintain daily expenditure, since housing and medical expenditure have been increasing too fast in Chinese society, which makes the vulnerable group face more living crisis.
In Chinese society, not only low level income people have greater daily stress, middle income group face the same problem. Especially the higher commodity prices make most people feel greater stress. In recent media reports, top concerns of Chinese people are inflation of prices, followed by income gap between rich and poor and official corruption problems.
Though China’s economy is developing at a high speed, income gap is getting wider, monopoly industries, real estate developers, and civil officials gain high income, while ordinary people don’t have obvious increase in income. The unreasonable social system creates this situation, and that’s the main reason that ordinary people have greater life pressure.
