Hou,Lianjun: The key of anti-corruption is to find out causes of corruption

The most concerned thing the masses in China cared about is not national matters, but honesty of the government and corruption problems of officials. The populace hope they can live a peaceful and cozy life, hopes the living standard not violated by corrupt officials. Out of such wish, the common people hope the government to effectively control corruption problems. For a long time, Chinese government doesn’t have big effects on anti-corruption, and in some areas corruption is getting worse.
Why anti-corruption has counteractive results? Firstly, CCP emphasizes its governing power, serious corruption problems always involve important officials and can’t make determination to severely punish corruption; Secondly, common people can’t take part in anti-corruption, and no transparency of anti-corruption. Thirdly, medias under the control of government only report good news, and publicize effects of so-called “anti-corruption”, only small cases are investigated for the common people to see.
The key for anti-corruption is to find out cause of corruption, and then eliminate corruption. No matter what positions, backgrounds, they have to conform to laws. The truth proves that only reform of the social system and realizes democratic system can truly restrain serious corruption problems.
