Bao,Shuqun: Arbitrary dictation of CCP is the source of violent demolition
包树群(Bao,Shuqun)
With skyrocket profits in real estate field, demolition of dwellers’ houses especially on good locations, has become highlight of officials and interest groups to take away and rob. The process is full of barbarous trample on human rights of Chinese people, sometimes even violence and blood. In some places, interest groups of CCP even publicly use criminal syndicate to tear down people’s houses. When common people fight with them, they usually face violence of CCP. Common people are beaten, or beat to death.
At the same time, because of no judicial independence, violent demolition often can’t get equal inquisition. Its’ certain that all violent demolition involve criminal syndicate, and have political background, because criminal syndicates don’t dare to be so furious without protection of CCP. China’s judiciary is not independent, court is very hard to maintain justice when handling and reviewing demolition cases, justice can’t be redressed, vulnerable group can’t be protected.
Escalating violent demolition in local areas is a tumor of Chinese society and serious disaster of human rights. In modern society, if citizens can’t even get basic human rights like home ownership, the social system has fundamental defects. The only way to assure citizen rights is democratic constitutionalism. Like 150 years ago, Abraham Lincon said: “We live in this world not to be ruled, to be bullied, to be slaved. Rights of human rights are granted by God not gifts of the ruler. Civilians have rights to vote and establish government according to their wills. The government is fed by civilians, so government is supposed to serve the public, to be supervised by common people and guarantee eights of everyone is not violated. Democracy is a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
