Gu,Hong: Chinese government can’t ignore environmental protection

Chinese government ignores environmental protection whiling emphasizing economic development. Nowadays, garbage collection has become big issues for key cities, among thousands of tons of garbage, some of them can’t be incinerated or decayed, like plastic, rubber, glass, metal. They have become the biggest problem in city environment.
Look at the air pollution in China, it’s the most serious pollution which mainly come from exhausts of factories and vehicles, many people contacted polluted air and infected with respiration and visual illnesses. However, the Chinese government still ignores serious environmental pollution problems, The low environmental quality has negative impact on people’s survival, sustainable development and balance of eco system. Water pollution, air pollution, noise pollution directly harm human health and damage ecological environment.
We call on the Chinese government to emphasize environmental protection, strengthen laws of environmental protection, reduce pollution, emphasize economic development, and environmental protection. On environmental protection problem, China has to take responsibility of a big economic country.
