Environment in China is disconcerting, strong economic development comes with deteriorated environment; frequent natural disasters, increased epidemic disease, pollution of air, drinking water, and food……The situation is not formed in one day, but accumulated result. We call on the Chinese government to strengthen environmental planning institutionally, and specifically manage environmental pollution.
Environmental protection can’t only rely on advocates of government and punishment of polluting factories, the key is to direct factories to form awareness of environmental protection through a series of policies and let those responsible to realize products and enterprises have no way out if not emphasize environmental protection, thus to develop an internal environmental protection mechanism and dynamics. The implementation of environmental protection can be facilitated through methods like energy prices, and environmental protection subsidy.
The government should guide people to promote a healthy, active consumption and living style, strengthen peoples’ awareness of environmental protection, and provide effective factors for handling rubbishes and reduce amount of rubbish. Forming consumption ideas and consumer behaviors that are willing to pay for costs of environmental friendly products. Restricting production behavior of enterprises and propel them to strengthen awareness of environmental protection and improve levels of environmental protection.
