Overseas media often report negative cases in Chinese society, like people appeal to higher authorities for help, violent demolition, inaction of the government, and so on. In domestic China, no matter newspapers, magazines, TV, or internet, they can’t equally report these negative news at their will; in public and social occasions, common people can’t speak their minds freely, can’t express negative opinions of the government or officials, and can’t criticize the government; if some openly publishes opinions of the government, it can be identified as harming social stability, and damaging stability and unity of society.
Freedom of speech is basic rights of human beings, and natural rights; anyone can’t lack normal comments; Chinese government nowadays doesn’t allow people to express their political ideas, doesn’t allow people to criticize government, and corruption problems of officials, Chinese government totally deprives freedom of speech of people. Chinese people need normal speeches, and they request the government to lift the ban on freedom of speech unconditionally.
