China has a saying that “Bread is the staff of life”, people all hope food can be guaranteed, and are more concerned about food safety problems. There is no health if food can’t be guaranteed. A saying that: people are afraid of hormone when eat animals, afraid of poisonous ingredient when eat vegetables, afraid of food color when drink soft, they have no idea what they can eat. People in Chinese society nowadays don’t’ know what to eat. Vegetables on tables look very fresh but not sure if they contain pesticide residues.
For a long time, food safety problems in China have hidden dangers, and consumers have lost confidence in the government and food traders. Chinese people are very concerned about food safety. Unsafe food products reached market again and again, and ultimately to mouths of Chinese people, where is the problem? The problem lies in the government, and irresponsible officials.
Chinese government must guarantee food safety, strengthen legislation of food safety management, establish powerful supervisor system for food safety, and make people to eat secure food.
