Wang,Xiaoping: Liu,Xiaobo’s Nobel Peace Prize is huge impulsive force for democratic movement in China

In the middle of Oct, I was surprised to hear Liu,Xiaobo’s winning of the Nobel Peace Prize, but I couldn’t find his news on Chinese websites, and was very upset. I remembered a democratic person was sentenced heavily and his wife was very advent and had uncovered head. I used English translation information and found him, I adored him very much.
My family told me in the summer of 2007: Don’t you want to join a democratic party and favor multi-party ruling of the country? Now a scholar in Beijing has the same political view as you, and his charter needs support. I thought, this person is really bold, the aggressive activity at the present stage can be put in prison, I thought it’s another flame of June 4 movement, and political system in China would be reformed completely, corruption in all areas lead by one party dictatorship would be totally eradicated, China would become a true powerful state in the world, and I surely supported him. When I searched to sign the charter, the activity had already been suppressed by local propaganda organization, but I insisted that economic reform had to be backed up by political reform, otherwise when economic development reached a certain point, wealth would flow to privileged class, when no one can make just judgments, the vulnerable would strongly request to balance wealth, every peasant uprising in history is centered on justice, and made the five thousand history in a disastrous state, and could not compete with America. The magic weapon is to learn from western civilization-democratic constitutionalism, mutual supervision, which has been repeatedly tested by world civilization. Only democratic countries can be powerful and stable, society can have real justice, happiness of the people can have guarantee. Now reform in China is an arbalest. Economic reform has to be guaranteed by political reform, otherwise 30 years economic reform in China will be between the cup and the lip and erupt intestine strife. Now the situation under economic integration in the world is not what the international society want to see, and maybe that’s the original intention of Nobel Committee. Therefore Liu’s Nobel Peace Prize is a huge momentum for democratic movements in China.
Though Liu,Xiaobo is imprisoned, his political views are affirmed and supported by international society, his winning is pride of all sons and daughters of the Chinese nation! From that point Liu,Xiaobo is our national hero, he enlightened our democratic sense with his imprisonment, and propelled democratic process in China, his name will go down in democratic history in China!
