Zeng,Heili: Protecting environment is duty and obligation of Chinese government

Who don’t want to see blue sky, green land, fresh air, and quiet environment? Who don’t want to their homes clean and cozy? The land we live on is our home. Chinese lands today have serious pollution because of expansion of factories and developing economy. The sky is no longer blue, land is no longer green, and the air is no longer fresh. Chinese government has inescapable responsibility for worsened environment.
Color of life is green, color of environmental protection is green. With green, we have fresh air; with green, we have scent of flowers; with green, we have healthy lives; with green, we have beautiful homes. Establishing green homes not only are incumbent duties and obligations of every Chinese people, but also important job of Chinese government, love green color is an important measure to protect environment.
We call on Chinese government to strengthen legislation and enforcement of law for environmental protection, increase propaganda, call on people to not litter garbage; cherish every grass, every grassland, cherish green, and use practical actions to protect environment.
