Chen, Lu: On China’s Education Issues

Present＇s education question is that nobody stark naked to take a bath, but too many people will be putting on the cotton-wadded jacket to take a bath. Now I chat my feeling on Chinese education and the problem China current examination-oriented education faced.
Nine year compulsory education is refers to compulsory, free, the popularization, which is the compulsory education. So-called free education, is stipulated explicitly “does not collect the miscellaneous school fees”. The public welfare and free education is related in together.
When I was in nine-year compulsory education period, each semester I was charged with several hundred dollars. Our teacher told us that these money were for a missing lessons, for notebooks and ,for classroom clearing. This was our miscellaneous school fees. But in fact, nine year compulsory education does not collect the miscellaneous school fees.
The examination-oriented education is refers to be separated from the social development need, violates person＇s law of development rule of personality. This kind of education produces many problems: its only goal id graduation rate, limited the ability of each student, have students not suitable for social life. It examines the school by the proportion of graduation students, the education quality, teacher＇s job performance as well as the student studies level. Take a final test as the goal of education. The educational pattern and the test method has limited the student ability for a full display, the student who passively passed all tests, but is difficulty in work and society＇s development. The overall quality of higher education admission＇s fresh students is somewhat low, the neglect of ideological and political education is not paid great attention.
When I am going to school, I likes painting pictures very much, some teacher satirized me saying that even drew very much, one could not become famous, even drew very much, one could not surpass Zhang Daqian, and drew had no any meaning, stop drawing! As this thinking, If one like driving, I said to him that you would never become a professional driver, so you should stop driving and discard your driver license!
Teacher has not guided own student to discover their own potential and the practice have strangled student＇s potential. 18 year-old adults, had not known that what is future ideal is , which is really the education failure.
Not only that teacher also frequently makes a mistake in writing student＇s name, for instance my name was Chen Lu, but some teacher always write another Chinese "Lu" always to like me “lu” , such matter I always very intertwine because teacher always made a mistake in writing mine name so I need to change name?
Math, physics chemistry, Chinese and English is good, but music, sports computer is poor, I am a top student. But if my music, sports, computer are good, foreign language is excellent, but math, English, chemistry is poor, I will is a bad student. To get good math score, one only need to do test endlessly, until passing the final examination.
The Chinese is, to unceasingly recalling, and should understand the meaning of these articles as same as teacher taught, otherwise is wrong. In Class some classmates are sleeping and have a dream of going to bathroom. Actually, in China, so long as the teaching material does not change, there is a turn of each 3 year, over and over again the same thing, using a joke that the active atmosphere is the same. Even the examination paper is possible to use in common, so long as the first several sessions have tested and students are tight-lipped, the examination paper can be used for a lifetime. some person starts with very bad result, does not pass an examination frequently, some teachers put these student on the bottom of class and mobilize other students to despise them. And if a student make mistakes frequently all personnel will suffer hardship, does not show the teacher＇s ethics matter. This is China education.
