Zheng, Yu: Anti-corruption roots from reasonable social system

The corruption in China has become more severe; especially governmental officials have had many cases of corruption, which is very upsetting. The corruption goes against the concept of integrity and efficiency brought out by the government; the severe corruption harms social stability, quality of life and destroys the justice, integrity and civilization of the whole society.
The focus of anti-corruption is great, so is the determination. But why it hasn’t been effective for so many years? In the contrary, some governmental officials fake and lie, which makes the corruption even worse.
The one-party dictatorship is the main reason of corruption. There is no Law or justice and fairner under the dictatorship; there is no monitoring of officials’ power. The power without boundaries will certainly lead to corruption. The solution of the serious corruption is to implement political reform and build a multi-party ruling ‘s democratic political system.
