There are many different sayings about the root cause of corruption, the root is the lack of democracy and law in China. The definition of democracy is to manage the country based on equality and majority’s opinions prevail. But what are our leaders doing? They determine their own benefits and rarely ask people’s opinions. They are trying everything to raise their benefits and destroy justice and fairness.

A democratic country holds free and fair elections participated by all people. A democratic country’s election is not for decoration of a dictatorship or a single party, but a real campaign fighting for people’s support. Democracy will make government obey law and ensure all people have access to equal lawful protection and the government’s rights are protected by the legal system. Are we implementing the fair elections? How many farmers were at the Beijing People’s Representative meeting? Only 3 attended. But we have hundreds of millions of farmers. Is this a fair election participated by all people? Unfortunately, our election is just a decoration of a single party.

There is no democracy in China. There is only democratic centralism, but not democracy. Democratic centralism is cover for corruption. Democracy means fairness for everyone. Will you still be motivated if there is no fairness or if the society treats you unfairly?
