Wang, Yana: For whom is the prisons in China prepared?
王娅娜(Wang,yana)
I surprisingly found out that the famout artist Ai, Weiwei was arrested by the Chinese Communist authority because besides the fact that he was an artist, he was also an activist. Ai, Weiwei not only pursued artistic work, but was also concerned about protecting legal human rights, investigated in a number cases caused by corruption, including the poisonous milk powder, students who were killed due to the poor quality construction during the Wenchuan earthquake and supported human rights activists who were persecuted. Therefore, he was under house arrest and persecuted by the government.
In recent years, the Chinese Communist Party has arrested more democrats, dissidents and human rights activists. Many innocent people were put in prison under heavy charges by the dictating Chinese Communist Party just because they helped people find justice. But these corruptive officials and their children who bully the unprivileged and commit crimes have been undercharged or even freed without any crime. I can’t help but ask then for whom are these prisons prepared for? If the innocent, justice fighters are locked up and the guilty, corruptive officials are enjoying their life, then what kind of country will Chine become?
I strongly protest against Chinese Communist Party’s arrest of democrats, dissidents and human rights activists. And I want to remind Chinese Communist that China will only prosper when democracy is applied and the dictatorship is ended.
