Zhao, Zhun: The Chinese government can’t deprive people’s right of free speech

Everybody should have the right of free speech; anyone, any organization or government can’t deprive people’s right of free speech. Everyone needs free speech, needs to express their comments or advice freely. This is the rights people are born with; just like all creatures need air, water and sunshine. Without free speech, people would free miserable. The Chinese government should respect every citizen’s right of free speech based on the perspective that free speech can’t be deprived of.
Currently, the Chinese government has set a restricted area of speeches and cost people their right of free speech. The Chinese government forbids people commenting on government and government officials or criticizing the government; the Chinese communist authority requests that people must repeat what the government says. Or the government will hold people responsible, some will even be charged for speech. Political reforms must be carried out for the development of China, and the most critical is to solve the issue of free speech for people.
