The global society used to place high hopes on Chinese government that will improve human rights. People still remember that the Chinese Communist government promised to improve human rights situation before 2008 Olympics. After 3 years, the situation of human rights in China hasn’t been improved much. The government has lied to Chinese. For many years, the Chinese people have paid a huge price on fighting for human rights. However, the basic human rights in China is still not guarded.

It is proved that the Chinese government is still arresting dissidents, human rights fighters, religious people and people who petition. They don’t intend to improve human rights situation. Therefore, I request the Chinese people to stop placing hopes on the Chinese government. It depends on Chinese people’s efforts to improve human rights.

It is all people’s universal benefit to respect and protect human rights. It also conforms to the development of democracy and liberty and the wishes of civilization. The Chinese should request the Chinese communist government to respect and protect human rights and to ask the government to protect basic human rights is the right of Chinese people.
