Corruption in China is known to everybody and is generalized and popularized. Corruption has been accepted and tolerated by Chinese people. Corruption is the hidden rule complied with by all government officials. For years, Chinese people have got used to officials’ corruption. Many people not only ignored officials’ corruption issue, but also leant and copied. This is the sadness of the Chinese society.
Chinese government officials hold all national power. Under the drive of money and benefits, some government officials go after corruption. Officials from all industries are after the same goal, therefore a beneficial union is formed among corruptive officials and risk is also shared. From the point of view of corruptive officials, the law won’t punish them if everyone is corruptive. They also call the action of group corruption making benefits. Officials have become bolder when there is such interpretation of disguise.
Group corruption is more harmful than individual corruption. Group corruption has chain reaction, which everyone copies and this behavior expands. The lack of legal regulations and supervision will certainly cause corruption. The Chinese communist’s dictatorship is the umbrella of officials’ corruption. In order to curb corruption, the Chinese communist’s dictatorship must be ended and a democratic system must be established.
