About 30 years ago, in order to control the increasing rate of population, the Chinese government started a massive “birth control” movement nationwide. The Chinese government also set the birth control policy as national policy. Birth control management bureaus were set up in local governments; birth control management offices were established in all levels of basic units and the officers treat birth control as their job and the related tasks as their profession. The birth control staffs often violently treat women and force those women, who were not approved by the birth control management office to get pregnant, to receive abortions and have tubal ligation done. This is a bloody process.

The major characteristic of implementing birth control policy is to force women do abortion. Abortions not only ruin the mental and physical health of women, but also violate the regulations of International human rights conventions. The birth of people and the continuation of human beings are the laws of nature. The execution of birth control policy of China violates the laws of nature, and also creates the negative impacts, such as prejudice against girls, and gender imbalance.

Therefore, the birth control policy implemented by the Chinese government seriously tramples women’s basic human rights. It shouldn’t be continued and must be terminated. The Chinese women can have freedom, human rights and dignity.
