Meng, Xianghong: There is no justice in China

I am Meng, Xianghong, from Jiangkou County, Guizhou Province, China. When my son Hong, Haohao was 3 years old, his left ring finger was pressed down by the door of TV stand in the classroom at the kindergarten he was attending, due to the lack of management. The kindergarten teachers didn’t send him to the 10-minute-walk way hospital until after 2 hours. During those 2 hours, the kindergarten teachers didn’t do any treatment of disinfection and stanch bleeding and let my son cry. Blood and tears were mixed together and his left ring finger was seriously infected. The doctor had to make the decision of amputating the 1st finger section and made my son’s left hand permanently disabled.

For the sake of my son, I filed a case and petition through legal procedures in order to get justice. However, the kindergarten was owned and managed by the mother of the deputy county head of Jiangkou County. In China, government officials protect each other and there is no justice and fairness. Average people have no basic human rights and nowhere to go for petitions. Finally, my injuried son didn’t get reasonable compensations. The efforts I put out for my son were in vain and justice became bubbles of hope.
For years, my son and I have been hurt physically and mentally. Therefore, I publicize the photos of my son’s injured hand, who is at middle school, online to disclose the Chinese government’s brutal behaviors of disregarding human life and bullying people and to strongly request freedom and liberty to be realized in China and people’s basic human rights to be protected.
