China’s economic development has been deformed since the reforms for the past 30 years. The current economic model of China is not the world-acknowledged market economy model. The Chinese government has completely controlled major industries, such as banking, communications, transportation, electricity, petroleum, post, aviation, etc. These industries show the symbols of “economy of power”. It is nicely stated as “the government controls state assets”; in fact, it is the government officials that control state assets.
Chinese communist single-party dictatorship has controlled the Chinese society. The Chinese communist government has dominated the economy of China. The government officials have absolute dominating position in leading economic work. Many Chinese communist government officials brazenly and illegally use the public-owned power and operate through illegal methods to benefit themselves.
The Chinese communist authority takes it for granted. From some officials’ point of view, there is high way, skyscrapers, model projects, etc everywhere in China; They think China is a prosperous country. In fact, China seems to be prosperous, and that is the key problem. There is a lack of justice and fairness behind the prosperity and wealth. Government officials are corruptive and bully. The minorities are having a hard time. Children from some areas can’t afford to go to school, people can’t afford to see a doctor, and some people are even lack of necessities. The illusion of China’s prosperity can’t be disguised, dictatorship will be replaced by a democratic and free system, and the democratic and free system in China will be realized one day.
