Yang, Tengshu: The Chinese government must immediately stop demolishing houses violently
杨腾树(Yang,Tengshu)
During the process of urban construction, development and construction, the Chinese government often uses violence to demolish houses violently. It has become more serious. Violent demolishing has become widely acknowledged disaster in China and created countless bloody incidents. Many people are forced to be petitioners due to demolishing, and some people committed suicide. Demolishing has brought instability and turmoil to China.
However the concept of human rights has been known in China for years and the consciousness of human rights of Chinese people have wakened up; incidents of trampling human rights such as violent demolishing still happen from time to time. The root reason is Chinese communist government puts dictatorship over the law. Violent demolishing is not tolerable in a civilized society.
In order to completely terminate violent demolishing, the system is the start, to push forward political reforms, complete political system and judicial system. The Chinese government should immediately stop violent demolishing, modify demolishing policies, terminate unreasonable demolishing regulations and implement “constitutionality”, so that all government’s behaviors will be restricted and supervised by law. At the same time, the Chinese government should strictly comply with the “Universal Declaration of Human Rights”, announced by UN and improve human rights situation in China.
