Birth is a natural rule and a process for people to create future generations. Pregnancy is women’s basic right in order to create future generations. Pregnancy is people’s basic human rights, same as breathing, eating and sleeping. The embryo carried by a mother already has characteristics of life. In many countries, abortion is considered against human rules and forbidden by law. However, the Chinese government created the birth control policy under the excuse of people born too fast, too many births, hindering the normal development of the economy.

It has been more than 30 years since the execution of birth control policy. The birth control bureau of the government has executed strict control of pregnant women. Whether a pregnant woman can give birth or not has to be approved by the birth control management bureau. Otherwise, the embryo will be killed by abortions. This is a serious violation of human rights.

For years, the birth control policy in China is trampling women’s physical and mental health and basic human rights. We strongly protest against the Chinese government’s birth control policy enforcement, request immediate termination of the policy and protect women’s basic human rights.
