Zhang, Chunlong: China muse choose the democratic system

The democratic system is a rather reasonable social system in human history. This system could strictly restrict government officials’ power. People could vote for the government and government officials that manage the country by law. The votes show people’s will. The government officials that are voted by people must listen to people’s wishes. Otherwise, people could vote for the government officials and impeach those that are against people’s will. This is the democracy and liberty system.
The problem of China lies in the dictating system. People don’t have the right to vote. The Chinese communist party doesn’t give people the option and right to choose the government and government officials; in this dictating society, there is no constitutionality. The constitution is like a decoration. Laws lack the supervising power of government and government officials; people have lost their basic rights. This has caused that Chinese people’s will and rights can’t be expressed and implemented. Since there is a lack of expression of people’s will in dictating China, the majority people’s interests can’t be protected. Therefore, the dictating regime of China meets the interests of the minority Chinese communist party members. The government can only bring safety, wealth and freedom to a few people.
If political reforms are not carried out in China and the dictating system is not changed, there will not be fairness, justice and people won’t feel secure. Only when the Chinese government gives up the dictating system and realizes the democracy and liberty system, Chinese people could have a safe environment and can become wealthy eventually.
