Li, Changming: The Chinese government must pay attention to the issue of environmental pollution

In recent years, environmental problems have caught attention of environmental protection activists and many governments. The global environmental pollution issue is worrying. On one hand, environmental pollution is caused by unreasonable exploitation and application of natural resources; on the other hand, many governments are not paying attention to environmental pollution.
Shocking environmental pollution issues include 5 aspects: air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution, food pollution and unreasonable exploitation and application of natural resources. The most polluted area is China. China’s fast economic development has created great GDP values and accompanied by deteriorating environmental pollution. Chinese government’s pursuit of economic efficiency and lack of environmental protection has made China the most polluted area in the world.
These facts have told us that environmental pollution has swallowed lives, threatened ecological balance, is hazardous to people’s health and restricted the continuous economic and social development; environmental pollution has let people in trouble. As a developed and populated country, China should be responsible for environmental protection, control environmental pollution according to law, and increase investment of environmental protection. This is the global expectation for the Chinese government.
