40 years ago, in order to reduce the negative effects on the economy, the society, the resources and the environment due to fast population increase, the Chinese government implemented the birth control policy nationwide; after about 10 years of the establishment of birth control policy, the Chinese government established the birth control policy as one of the basic state policies to execute the birth control policy by force to control the birth rate nationwide under the excuse of promoting population quality.
For years, the birth control policy has been controversial due to its execution methods and the negative economic and social effects. During the execution process, many local governments have applied violent methods such as abortions, inductions, ligations and killing baby girls. Many women at the age of pregnancy have had some negative sequels due to the brutality caused by abortions, inductions and ligations. The execution of birth control policy have caused sexual imbalance, which is a major reason that caused there are more men than women in China.
Some officials from regional birth control bureaus made money out of fines and became corruptive in another way. The execution of birth control policy of China is not only taking away people’s lives and depriving people of their right to live, but also provided opportunities for government officials to be corruptive. It is proved that the Chinese government must abolish the birth control policy as soon as possible.
