Shen, Shunai: Political system reforms are the solution for the corruption issue in China

In democracy countries, power of the government and government officials comes from the people. When using their power, the government and government officials must be supervised by people and be obliged by law, so that the probability of corruption is remote. China is a single-party dictating society, and the power of government officials is granted by senior government officials. This kind of power requires officials to be responsible for senior officials only and can be separated from people’s supervision, can exchange power and money through illegal methods and the region with the greatest power is the most corruptive place.
The Chinese government carried out anti-corruption action, however since the social system is flawed in China, the anti-corruption regulations don’t mean anything, and people don’t have the power for anti-corruption. The more anti-corruption action is, the more serious it becomes. Some government officials even cross the line and embezzle openly.
The corruption in China has made people pay a high price. Corruption has caused people’s life quality lower. The current anti-corruption can’t solve the problem from the root. The Chinese government should find reasons from the system, and carry out political reforms. This is the ultimate solution for anti-corruption.
