Zheng, Libin: A voted government is the medicine to cure China
郑丽彬(Zheng,Libin)
From the internet, I found out that: there are many inequalities and strange things happening in China. Farmers are doing the heaviest, dirtiest and the most dangerous work in the city, but they are paid the least. They are living in houses that can’t be thought about. They don’t have household registration or medical insurance. Their children don’t have the right to go to schools with children with urban household registration and they are placed in poor-conditioned schools. Government office buildings are located in central areas and are magnificently decorated. Government officials are equipped with cars and drivers. They own millions and even billions of assets, mansions and well-known cars. Their children are studying abroad. However, in rural areas, the low-income class are doing everything to survive but still can’t make ends meet, can’t eat or sleep well. There are only dilapidated hospitals, untrained medical staff and there are no public libraries, gardens, or stadiums. In China, there is a term called “Jelly projects” which means that government’s constructions are like jelly. A bridge collapsed and a car that was driving on it fell and caused a major accident and many casualties, which brought permanent miseries to many families. The second day of a high-way’s passing through, a car fell and caused two deaths and a person’s injuries.
In U.S.A, people with low-income live in government-supported building and enjoy free medical care, food stamps and other assistance. The education from kindergarten to middle school is free and there is also free lunch provided at schools. Government buildings are built dozens and hundreds of years. There are advanced medical equipment, libraries, gardens, stadiums, grassland, fresh air and tidy streets within communities. Highways are built dozens of years ago and are still in good condition and in use.
Why there is such a big difference between China and U.S.A? The ultimate reason is that in China CCP is dictating and the government is a dictating government. Government officials have power and can’t be restricted. They are appointed by their supervisors and are only responsible for their supervisors. Government officials are not voted by people and they don’t care about people’s benefits. In the U.S, the Republic and the Democracy Party are ruling in terms and legislation, administration and justice are separated. Government is voted by people and government officials represent people’s benefits. U.S is a country of free speech and free media and media can also oversight the government.
Obviously, a voted government is much better than a dictating government for people. A voted government is the major symbol of the democracy system. And the dictating government is an of the democracy system. CCP must keep their head clear, don’t be too fascinated with the power, give up the dictatorship, go along with the trend, and learn from U.S democracy experience, so that people can have the right to vote and vote for a government that can represent their interests. Chinese people can only have democracy and liberty, live a rich life and free their minds after the establishment of a voted government.
