Wang, Qiang: Freedom of speech is the basic right of people

Chinese government limit the freedom of speech and the people can’t speak their opinions on government in public, especially the thoughts that the government considers them negative. If someone doesn’t obey it, they will be put a label of disturbing the social order and damaging stability and unity; seriously, someone will be arrested, put into prison and even sentenced.
The government limits people’s freedom of speech and disfranchises people’s freedom of speech, so people can’t express their speech and opinions. It’s not allowed that people publish different opinions on the government’s activity, criticize the officials and have opposite political views on the government by Chinese Communist Party. The government disfranchises the people’s right of freedom of speech totally. Though it is ruled that people in China have the right of freedom of speech, it’s just written in the papers.
Anyone needs the freedom of speech. It is the basic right given to human by god, because everybody in the world is equal and free. Since everybody is equal, they should respect each other and have the right of freedom of speech.
