Ye, Zhijian: Let people have the right of freedom of speech

People living in democratic countries have the right of freedom of speech fully, and they can express their words freely. The government in democratic countries is elected by people’s votes. There is no intervention and limit of people’s words, to the opposite, their speeches can be protected by laws. No matter the speeches are positive or negative, people can convey them freely.
Chinese authority controls people’s speech, because the newspapers and magazines people read, or TV program or Radio program must pass the checking of authority. The news can’t reflect the social problems in China actually, and this makes people not know the society truthfully.
Chinese government’s depriving of people’s right of freedom of speech violates natural laws and goes contrary to basic human rights principle. Consequently, we call for opening the freedom of speech in China to make people have right of freedom of speech.
