Since the times of Mao, Zedong, many a “hero model” were pushed instantly by CCP to provide society to learn from. So it is seemed that CCP also wanted to build a moral society, on account of that only moral society can be stable and harmonious. However, in order to maintain its autocracy, CCP limited and restrained the traditional moral backbone of religion, public opinion and people’s society and laws strictly. It attempted to support the building of social morality with the “advancement” of party and model leading role of members of CCP and officials. In this aspect, CCP tried their best actually, but it ignored such a simple fact unaware of basing on naivety or resignation. The corruption in the Party was of longevity, and it caused CCP had lost the qualification of being the backbone of social morality totally.

The corruption in the Party made the endeavors of these people invalid and not credible at all. Based on it, the party in power in China sank into a dilemma, that CCP required the power of morality to maintain the society stable. But it could not bring the flag of morality because of its own corruption and it was afraid that the moral power standing out elsewhere may threaten its regnant position, so it suppressed so heavily. The result was that the society full of cheating and corruption lead to the society not to develop healthily. It was impossible in such society to be stable and peaceful for a long time.
